Man Utd's Top Transfer Target

The agent of one of Manchester United's key transfer targets has sparked excitement among fans after sharing a picture of Old Trafford on Instagram. Borna Khoramdel, CEO of Arvand Sport, the agency representing Porto star Mehdi Taremi, uploaded an image featuring United's badge, as well as tagging Old Trafford in the post.

Fans Sent Into a Frenzy

Unsurprisingly, Man Utd fans quickly reacted to the post, with one Twitter user questioning why Taremi's agent was at Old Trafford. Others expressed their excitement, hoping that the club would finally secure a proper striker with the potential transfer. Despite the agent's hint, the Manchester Evening News has reported that he wasn't actually present at the stadium.

Alternative to Harry Kane

The Red Devils have been eyeing Taremi as a possible attacking option since the beginning of July. He has been considered a more affordable choice compared to Harry Kane, who is reportedly too expensive for manager Erik ten Hag. Porto is willing to listen to offers starting at £17 million for the 30-year-old striker.

Goalkeeper Transfer on the Horizon

In addition to their striker hunt, Man Utd also needs to find a replacement for departed goalkeeper David De Gea. According to reports, the club is close to finalizing a deal to sign Andre Onana from Inter Milan for a fee of approximately £40 million.
